The Chicago Sun Times recently published a story on a lawsuit filed against a baseball bat manufacturer by a boy who was left deaf in one ear after getting hit by a line drive. Go here for the story.
The issue in a case like this is not new. Back in October of 2009 I published a comment on a similar case. Here is my comment from back then.
