New allegations that Toyota tried to cover up acceleration problems
The Wall Street Journal law blog is reporting today that the plaintiffs in the lawsuit against Toyota for damages caused by the sudden acceleration of some of Toyota's vehicles have amended the complaint to add a few new claims, including the allegation that Toyota investigated sudden-acceleration incidents and then bought back vehicles from the customers who reported problems making them sign confidentiality agreements.
