Common knowledge?

In class we discuss how a plaintiff can use the notion of "common knowledge" in support of an argument of duty and breach of duty. Is it common knowledge that it is dangerous to use aerosol sprays over fire? Watch this video and note how the dad's hair catches fire for a split second at the end.
