Chrysler recall due to brake problems
AboutLawsuits.com is reporting today that mMore than 24,000 cars and trucks are expected to be part of a Chrysler recall that will be issued due to faulty or missing brake parts that could cause drivers to experience sudden brake failure. The majority of the vehicles being recalled are 2009-2010 Dodge Ram trucks, but the recall also affects some 2010 models of the Chrysler Sebring, the Dodge Avenger and Nitro, and the Jeep Liberty, Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs. Chrysler notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the recall this week, saying that a clip retention tab on the brake pedal pin was defective in some vehicles, and not installed at all in others.
