Crocs Settles Design Defect Suits

I remember reading a while back about incidents where people were getting their feet caught in escalators while wearing "Crocs" shoes (or are those considered sandals? clogs? I am not sure). In any case, the TortsProf Blog is reporting today that the company (whcih has been described elsewhere as being "financially troubled") has been settling these cases pretty quickly.
