New report: medical malpractice payments at an all time low

A new report by Public Citizen indicates that medical malpractice payments dropped to an all-time low last year, once again disproving claims by tort reform proponents that medical malpractice lawsuits are an important factor in the increasing cost of health care.  The new report is available here.
