A few days ago I reported on two recent decisions on the constitutionality of the regulations that require cigarette manufacturers to place graphic images as part of the required warnings in cigarette packages. (see

here). Circuit Splits is reporting today that the issue might be headed to the Supreme Court soon.

I smoked for 12 years, so I know how bad these things are for you, but I still can't agree with the FDA's new warnings.
ReplyDeleteI agree that messages that aren't visible don't serve their purpose, but still, what they want to do is too much. Soon, they'll want to do like Australia - remove branding completely and put a big "Smoking Kills" on the packs
