Following up on
my post from two days ago on this topic, the PopTort is offering today a short comment (with links to more) on the "“not so well thought out” ideas of the Co-Chairs of the deficit reduction commission" to enact a national cap on damages. Such a measure would disproportionately hurt seniors and other injured victims like women who work inside the home, children and the poor, who are more likely to receive a greater percentage of their compensation in the form of non-economic damages if they are injured.
